OK, here’s a pretty cool peripheral. This one comes from Newton Peripherals. It is a bluetooth mouse that you store in your laptop’s pc slot. Also known as the PCI slot, it sits empty on most laptops. When wifi was new, people stuck wifi pc cards in their laptops. This is one item you won’t outgrow. Even as you get a new laptop, you can bring your mouse with you.

It recharges when in your laptop. Not sure it’s the most comfortable mouse around, but if you want to travel light, this may be the one for you.

Certainly it is better than relying on the “eraser nub” many laptops provide for moving the mouse. Personally, I prefer the touch pad. Even on a PC, a touchpad on the keyboard saves me from moving my right hand from keyboard to mouse.
